Free Low Glycemic Index Diet

How can I safely switch to a low carb/ low glycemic index diet and not feel tired?

Please feel free to provide details about how I can gradually make the change and what foods I can eat to help me reach my goal of weigh loss !

The reason you feel tired, is that your body uses carbs for energy, so you become malnourished from an imbalanced diet without them. Rather than cutting them out, have much smaller portions and switch to whole grains for things like rice, bread, and pasta. They have fiber in them to fill you up and keep you full longer.

Things that you should cut out are processed, sweet, fried, junk, and fast foods. This includes most lunch meats and things like chips, crackers, pretzels, anything made with white flour. That leaves your healthy, whole grains for carbs. Eat a lot of fresh fruits and veggies along with moderate amounts of lean protein and whole grains. Divide your plate into quarters. First fill half with fruits and veggies. The other quarters are for the lean protein and healthy carb. Eat 3 small meals and 2-3 healthy snacks like fruit with peanut butter or a handful of nuts, cut veggies with hummus. Do not snack on leftovers. Do not have seconds. You can eat like this forever without any negative side effects and lose weight.
